Summary[]
After Hua Cheng smashed Qi Rong’s mask to make it crack, his face is a bit similar to Xie Lian’s. Qi Rong becomes surprised as Hua Cheng changes into his real form. Hua Cheng asks how Prince An Le died. Xie Lian rubs his shoulders to calm him down, because Hua Cheng’s eyes are frightening. It works, but Hua Cheng pats his shoulder, this makes Xie Lian freeze and can’t move his body.
Qi Rong curses at him, however Hua Cheng asks again how Prince An Le died. He smashes his head multiple times until he answers it’s Lang Qianqiu. The daruma in Xie Lian arms jerks, Hua Cheng undos the spell and Lang Qianqiu is back to normal. He yells at Qi Rong angrily that he and An Le were friends.
Qi Rong is surprised that he’s in his lair too, but he says he died soon after the Gilded Banquet and if it’s not Lang Qianqiu then it’s the people in court. They argue for a bit until Qi Rong admits if it would've been better to kill him too to end the Yong’an bloodline fully. Xie Lian wants him to shut up badly.
Lang Qianqiu becomes aware that Fang Xin Guoshi and An Le may have been on the same side, however Qi Rong says it had nothing to do with him. When An Le planned to kill everyone off, the Guoshi suddenly came and did the work. Lang Qianqiu is furious that Xie Lian admitted to guilt falsely, just then his body becomes free. Xie Lian says it’s false and it wasn’t the Xianle citizens that killed Lang Qianqiu’s parents.
Qi Rong suddenly asks Xie Lian if he's cousin crown prince.
