Vow to Never Forget, Never! (永志不忘永志不忘, "Yǒngzhìbúwàng Yǒngzhìbúwàng") is the 88th chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.
Summary[]
Xie Lian's divine statue is currently holding the Celestial Pagoda. Feng Xin and Mu Qing are checking if there are any trapped victims. Xie Lian feels a ton of weight on his body suddenly, that means the pagoda is too heavy. His divine statue is having difficulty holding it up, so Xie Lian tries to cast a spell but it doesn't work. He then goes on the golden statue to cast it again, this time it corresponds and raises the pagoda. Xianle citizens cheer and they ask him to save them, Xie Lian says to back away with difficulty.
Qi Rong suddenly grabs his ankle, Xie Lian then asks his cousin to tell everyone to go away because the pagoda might collapse. Qi Rong then proposes an idea, he can help Xie Lian by inflicting the Human Face Disease on Yong'an. Xie Lian is against this, Qi Rong then asks if he knows how the soldiers weren't infected. The citizens heard that part and they ask him if that's true. Feng xin tries to drag him away, but Qi Rong becomes agitated an tells Xie Lian to hold on before being dragged away.
Xie Lian would stay where he is, the King and Queen of Xianle would visit him everyday. His father's hair is mostly white now and seems to be over fifty. His mother is sorrowful by seeing her son holding up the building with difficulty. She tries to shield him from the sun with a umbrella, but Xie Lian tells her to stop. His mother ends up crying and the king held her shoulders with comfort. The two of them left shortly after.
Suddenly, the man who gave him a umbrella shows up screaming. The young man shows a small face growing on his right leg, that signifies the method of chopping off limps didn't work. Xie Lian gives small amount of relieve for him, everyone then starts screaming at him for help and accuse him of not telling them of a cure. A horn comes blasting, that means Yong'an won a battle. Xie Lian's body bent down, at the same time the statue lost its might and let the pagoda collapse. Xie Lian doesn't mind and goes to the fortress towers, everything is ablaze.
He then sees White No-Face in the field, Xie Lian jumps out of the tower to catch him, however his leg breaks. After that day, Xie Lian's battles have been full of loses. People now call him a God of Misfortune, he also has to return to the Heavenly Capital now. Xie Lian goes to Holy Royal Pavilion for one last time with his two deputies, people are trying to burn down his first statue. However, someone takes down the fires. A boy then screams to scram.. He next hangs a painting on the wall and zones out. The boy feels something and calls if it's Xie Lian.
Mu Qing advises to go, however the boy declares he will build a better temple for him and no one will compete with him. Xie Lian tells the boy to forget him, he then tries to leave. However, the boy shouts he will never forget.
