Upon BeiZi Hill; Crown Prince Falls into the Devil's Nest (背子坡太子陷魔巢, "Bēi Zǐ Pō Tàizǐ Xiàn Mó Cháo") is the 79th chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.‎

Summary[]

Xie Lian asks the soldier which troop he belongs to since he finds it weird that he was hiding from them. Feng Xin notes that it’s the same brat who kept charging to fight in front of Xie Lian during the battle against Yong'an. Xie Lian thinks this teenager is just there to see him out of admiration, so he let's him off the hook.

Suddenly, the young solider charges towards Xie Lian and catches an arrow that was aimed at his back. Xie Lian realizes the arrow was shot by Lang Ying from the distance. He notices fabric on the arrow, on which there’s a scribble of the word "Qi".

This signifies Qi Rong might have been kidnapped, so Feng Xin asks the soldiers search the palace for his whereabouts. Xie Lian plans to go alone, so he runs and leaves the others behind. He soon reaches a mountaintop called Beizi Hill where he finds Qi Rong hung up in a tree.

After releasing him, Lang Ying attacks Xie Lian, but he's immediately knocked back by the latter. Xie Lian says he should stop fighting, but Lang Ying asks if he thinks that what he's doing is truly right. Qi Rong urges Xie Lian to burn the hill down because Yong'an refugees are staying here.

Lang Ying explains that he wants the royal capital of Xianle to disappear and says even a god like Xie Lian cannot stop him.

Suddenly, a person appears, wearing half-crying, half-smiling mask and a white funeral garb. Suddenly, Lang Ying gets swallowed by the ground. Xie Lian tries attacking the masked person, but they vanish, so he grabs Qi Rong to leave.

Human forms fall down from the trees, which turn out to be binus. The young soldier comes back and helps Xie Lian to exterminate them. Xie Lian stuffs his sword in Qi Rong’s hands and commands him to go.

After an hour, all binus have been killed by the soldier and Xie Lian. Xie Lian asks why he followed him, but the soldier doesn't give a straight answer. Xie Lian compliments him and adds that he may be better suited with a sabre rather than a sword.
