The Scrap Immortal, Third Time Entering the Heavenly Capital II (破烂仙人三登仙京, Pòlàn Xiānrén Sān Dēngxiān Jīng) is the 3rd chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.
Summary[]
Xie Lian is still talking to Feng Xin and Mu Qing in the communication array about the chaos he caused for them during his third ascension. He promises to make it up to them if given a little time.
Xie Lian visits Ling Wen at her palace, where everything is busy as usual. She gives him a scroll and tells him to go on a mission in the North, as Jun Wu is busy and can't attend. Xie Lian quickly figures out that it's more likely that Jun Wu is helping him instead. Ling Wen asks the communication array if any Martial God can accompany him, but nobody is willing to. Xie Lian was aware this would happen and leaves shortly after.
Three days Xie Lian has arrived in the North of the mortal realm, in the region of Mount Yu Jun. He's at a teahouse and notices a silver butterfly, which shortly lands on his finger before leaving. When Xie Lian turns back, two youths have sat down at his table. They introduce themselves as Nan Feng and Fu Yao, both supposedly being Martial Gods from the Middle Heaven. Fu Yao is under the Palace of Xuan Zhen and Nan Feng under the Palace of Nan Yang. They claim their generals don't know they came and that they volunteered to help.
It's explained that the Palace of Xuan Zhen and Nan Yang have never gotten along and carry a centuries year old rivalry, dating back to even before Mu Qing's and Feng Xin's ascension when they would always insult each other. Thus, Fu Yao and Nan Feng don't seem to get along either.
Xie Lian proceeds to tell a legend surrounding Mount Yu Jun from the scroll Ling Wen gave him. There was a couple who loved each other and wanted to get married, but the bride suddenly went missing on the day of the wedding. This case repeated several years later and this time there were traces of the bride being killed.
