The Scrap Immortal, Third Time Entering the Heavenly Capital (破烂仙人三登仙京, Pòlàn Xiānrén Sān Dēngxiān Jīng) is the 2nd chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.
Summary[]
The chapter starts off with a conversation between Ling Wen and Xie Lian. She congratulates him for taking the first place in being the most anticipated Heavenly Official to be banished to the mortal realm. They playfully talk about that ranking, Ling Wen explaining that this list is only dedicated to him.
She points out that a clock had been shaken off as he ascended for the third time. This clock usually rang as a celebration when people ascended, but due to his third ascension being so impactful, it fell down onto a Heavenly Official. Since they were a Martial God, they split the clock into two halves with their hand however.
Ling Wen further explains that also other Heavenly Officials' palaces toppled over with his ascension, thus they were all offended by Xie Lian. She says he could make it up to them by paying 8.880.000 merits, but he doesn't have any.
Later Xie Lian tries to visit the Spiritual Communication Array. Because he had forgotten to ask Ling Wen for the password, he blindly tries to find the correct array. He first enters one where Heavenly Officials are placing bets on how long it'll take for Xie Lian to be banished again. After he leaves he goes through a few more arrays until he finds the right one. He announces that he has returned and discovers he's talking to the martial god who had been hit by the clock. It turns out it's Mu Qing, whom he appointed as general 800 years ago, which greatly shocks Xie Lian.
Suddenly another Heavenly Official enters the communication array and wants to confront the person who destroyed his palace. Xie Lian quickly admits it was him and apologizes. This time, he recognizes the other party. It's Feng Xin, the other general he had appointed in the past and his former loyal bodyguard.
