Paradise Manor (极乐坊, Jílè Fāng) is the residence of Hua Cheng in Ghost City.[1]

Location[]

Paradise Manor is located next to a lake, a number of will-o'-the-wisps floating above the water. The manor itself is a glamorous golden pavilion with an intense aura of bewitchment that even emits from the entrance letters that read "Paradise Manor". From inside come sounds of captivating and soft music sung by women and a warm, perfumed scent.[1]

Many side chambers exist within the building.[2]

  • Paradise Hall: Paradise Hall is the main hall of the manor.[2] A thick, snow-white rug covers the floor and many beautiful barefooted women clad in light silk dance in the hall.[1]
  • Armory: The manor is in possession of a large armory. Its doors are made of steel with violent beasts carved upon them, while the inside is filled with all kinds of weapons hanging on the walls. The weapons are said to be exquisite, and Xie Lian is thrilled upon seeing it for the first time.[2]
  • Garden: Other than that, there is also a small garden that is colored in vermilion and with a small, unoccupied path cutting through it.[2]

History[]

Trivia[]

  • If someone was to take an item without permission, then the doors would not open, and they would be trapped in the room they're in.[3]
  • Although it was never explicitly stated that he lives there, Yin Yu is frequently at Paradise Manor, most likely due to his duties as Hua Cheng's assistant.[2][4]
