Wuming later asks if he thought of how to release the revengeful spirits, but Xie Lian is still thinking. In the meantime, the souls are trapped inside his sword, but they can't be kept for long.

However, Xie Lian doesn't trust him and asks why would make such a request. Wuming wants to prove that his heart is filled with hatred against Yong'an, but Xie Lian immediately stops him and rejects his wish.

The next day in the Lang-Er streets, the people are saddened by the death of the Yong'an royalty. Suddenly, a man falls down on the ground from the sky. He asks to be saved, but no one helps him since Xie Lian is known as the God of Misfortune now.
After a full day, White No-Face appears above Xie Lian and asks what he is doing. He says to White No-Face to get out of his view of the sky and explains it's much prettier than him. White No-Face laughs at his tantrum, wondering if Xie Lian really thought someone would help him.
