Summary[]
Xie Lian kicks White No-Face away, which infuriates the latter. It’s the first time Xie Lian has ever seen him so emotional and he grabs his sword to attack him. White No-Face calls Xie Lian useless trash for forgiving and forgetting everything so quickly.
Suddenly, a sharp cry comes from the sword. It’s too late, the revengeful souls are going to be unleashed and nothing is going to stop them. White No-Face shows his true strength and knocks Xie Lian on the ground.
White No-Face blames everything on him, but Xie Lian reminds him that he’s the one who unleashed the Human Face Disease and has been responsible for his suffering. White No-Face grabs his hand and stuffs the black sword in his grip, which he then raises to the sky.
The sun has set in Yong'an, but the clouds are black and foggy. The Human Face Disease is about to be unleashed again. To save the people, he grabs the sword and goes toward the crowd. Xie Lian tries to convince them to stab him in order not to get infected by the disease, but no one acts on his word.
White No-Face mocks him, but Xie Lian responds that useless trash like him wouldn’t understand. A scared father tries to make his son stab Xie Lian, but the water merchant that didn't help Xie Lian before stops it. He stands up for Xie Lian and explains that even if he didn't die, they'd still make him bleed, and that he'd feel ashamed for doing this when he hasn't done anything for Xie Lian.
