Lost Red Pearl, Inadvertently Luring the Red-Eyed (遗红珠无意惹红眼, Yí Hóngzhū Wúyì Rě Hóngyǎn) is the 60th chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.
Summary[]
Feng Xin is also kneeling behind Xie Lian, he confirms that it’s true he asked Mu Qing to inform one of the four Guoshis about the changes of the ceremony.
Guoshi turns to Mu Qing and harshly asks why he did not say anything regarding it, he then says he had done it purposely. Xie Lian says it’s a misunderstanding and he’s not an idiot to sabotage a ceremony without getting noticed. Mu Qing explains that he did pass on the word to the four from outside the window. The three don't know this, but the Deputy Guoshis were playing cards and not paying attention, so they didn’t hear him.
Mu Qing had no choice but to tell the message from outside the window because the guard outside wouldn’t let him and mistreated him. It’s the result of the Guoshis not liking Mu Qing, so naturally everyone including the disciples followed their lead.
Guoshi dismisses the three and asks them to change their costumes, because he doesn't want to be held accountable. They soon return to Xie Lian’s room, Mu Qing takes off his costume for him. He says that the clothing is dirty in some places, it must be the child who was in Xie Lian’s arms. Feng Xin mentions he took him out of the palace, before he could check the child’s injuries he kicked Feng Xin in the shin.
After laughing hard at the story, Xie Lian says that Mu Qing fought well on the stage and he’s much better with a sabre than a sword. Mu Qing suddenly frowns, he says there’s something missing.
