Land of the Tender; Body of Gold Hard-Pressed Against Desire III (温柔乡苦欲守金身, "Wēnróuxiāng Kǔ Yù Shǒu Jīn Shē") is the 82nd chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.
Summary[]
The young soldier hears Xie Lian let out a painful moan. Before he can come to check on him, Xie Lian shouts not to come inside. The flower demons start to tease him for being in a weak condition and try to convince him to have some fun with them. Xie Lian then rips his robes to feel less hot, that means his strength has and the numbness has passed. However, that also signifies madness will take over him and Xie Lian is worried the array won't be enough to keep him inside.
Xie Lian calls the boy over, the solider comes inside after some hesitance. Xie Lian asks him to give him his sword and to help him up. The soldier puts his weapon aside and helps him get up, though his hands immediately shrank back because the soldier touched Xie Lian's feverish skin. The soldier helps him again and Xie Lian then leans on the cool walls of the cave. He asks the soldier to cut a lock of his hair, he does the task as asked. Xie Lian then wraps his hair on the boy's finger, he explains it's for protection since the soldier won't have his sword.
The soldier returns to the entrance of the cave, Xie Lian then wounds his arm. He continues to slit it to bring more clarity to his mind. Xie Lian thought his desires would be repressed if he inflicted harm upon, however he's quietly moaning. He checks the sword and realizes his method isn't working, due to the fact it's covered by the sap of the flower demons.
The only thing he can do is to restrain himself by shoving a piece of cloth inside his mouth. The young soldier becomes agitated because Xie Lian continues to moan quietly.
