Appearance[]
"Rather than a man, one could say he was more like a walking wolf." [1]
Kemo is an exceedingly tall man, said to be at least nine feet in height from shoulder to feet. He has a grim face with a ferocious and turbulent expression. His and the Banyue's soldiers' build is compared to horses and beasts such as werewolves, stressed to be massive and with an intense aura. Kemo wears a thin layer of armor on his shoulder as well.[1]

A crass, violent man who cared deeply for his subordinates and maintains a great hatred for the people of Yong'an and the Guoshi of Banyue.
History[]
Past[]
In his youth Kemo used to be exceptionally weak for Banyue standard and was thus bullied. He trained his body with stone mortar slate and thus gained his name.[1]
When Ban Yue became the Imperial Sorceress of Banyue, Kemo once took her to eradicate a group of bandits which built their hideout under the sand. Kemo won the battle though with a lot of causality and their fight caused the tunnel to collapse. With that condition and a sandstorm quickly approaching, Kemo could only retreat with what soldier he could take. When the sandstorm died out he looked for the group with the sorceress and found her guarding the hole she dug with her own hands to protect the surviving soldiers from the sandstorm while the deceased has also been dug out and laid in a neat order.
Ever since then, Kemo began to thought highly of Ban Yue and became her staunchest supporter, helping her to reach the position of Head Priestess. Moreover, he also knew how it felt like to be bullied, and the connection made him more sympathetic to her.[2]
However, their close relationship was ruined in Banyue and Yong'an final war. During the height of battle, Ban Yue opened the gates to let the Yong'an army in, and they slaughtered Banyue people. After finding out Ban Yue has been colluding with the enemy general for a long time, Kemo went mad from anger and sent a troop of soldiers to catch Ban Yue and hung her on the Sinner's Pit. [1]
Banyue Pass[]
This resentment never went down even after they died, and Banyue Kingdom became a kingdom of the dead. Kemo and his men became malicious ghosts of the 'Savage' category after his death and so did Ban Yue. She placed a powerful spell over the Sinner's Pit so no one who enter cannot leave and threw down the General's men down while he would hunt her down and hang her over the pit whenever he caught her.[1] The General and Guoshi, thus trapped within the ruins and locked in a battle with each other for the two hundred years, was only freed once Xie Lian came and stopped them.
Kemo was apprehended by Shi Qingxuan to face trials in the heavens and was sealed.
Reopening of Tonglu Mountain[]
Later, the seal on Kemo was released by Mount Tonglu's tremor.[3] He appeared once again during Mount Tonglu massacre as one of the contestants. His hatred toward Xie Lian who captured him and Pei Ming who was the direct boss of Pei Xiu.
