In the Palace of Divine Might, Crown Prince Meets Crown Prince II (神武殿太子见太子, Shénwǔ Diàn Tàizǐ Jiàn Tàizǐ) is the 33rd chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.
Summary[]
This chapter marks the start of the trial regarding Pei Xiu and the matter of Ban Yue in the Great Martial Hall. Xie Lian talks to Jun Wu, thinking this incident had already been settled, when suddenly another Heavenly Official, called Pei Ming, joins their conversation and claims it's not sorted out yet.
Pei Ming is the Martial God of the North, extremely skilled in battle and a famous womanizer among the three realms. He had and still has many rivals and people who despise him. When he was still a mortal, he once finally lost a battle and people thought that was his end, but he ascended just moments after.
Xie Lian and him greet each other, before Xie Lian asks why it's not settled yet. Pei Ming summons the wounded, soulless vessel of A-Zhao and Pei Xiu is also brought in, before Pei Ming starts to explain that he's familiar with Pei Xiu's strength, but heard that he had to give in to another person in battle. He asks Xie Lian to explain who this person is, as he was his company during their mission. Xie Lian lies, pretending to not really know who it was.
Another cultivator, Shi Qingxuan, in the hall claims Pei Ming is only supporting himself on Pei Xiu's side of the story and thus, Pei Ming calls forth Mu Qing and Feng Xin. This is the first time Xie Lian had seen them in their true appearance after 800 years. They inspect the wounds on the body, confirming that it was Hua Cheng's scimitar, E-Ming. Shi Qingxuan asks if Pei Ming suspects that Xie Lian allied with Hua Cheng to frame Pei Xiu, but he refutes that and instead states that Hua Cheng may have deceived Xie Lian.
Jun Wu speaks up, asking to concentrate on the Banyue incident. Pei Ming asks for this matter to be reinvestigated, but Pei Xiu stops him and admits his fault. Pei Ming and him argue, but they're quickly stopped by Jun Wu, followed by him asking Pei Ming to send Pei Xiu into exile for 200 years. Jun Wu promises to look into the matter with Hua Cheng, asking for everyone except Xie Lian to leave. Pei Ming asks Shi Qingxuan to not cause trouble like that again, but he just tells him it's Pei Xiu's own doing. Xie Lian notices Lang Qianqiu fell asleep during the meeting and wakes him up.
The chapter ends with Jun Wu and Xie Lian alone in the hall.
