Heaven's Eye (天眼开, Tiānyǎn Kāi) is a cultivator and monk that can spot impurities or evil.
Appearance[]
Heaven's Eye wears a luxurious cultivation robe, carries a treasure chest on his back, and he has several yellow charms on his chest. Those charms are of high quality and are able to scare away lower ranking ghosts very well.[1]
Personality[]
He's a natural leader type of person. He's very confident in his abilities and convinced by the things he sees with his third eye, quick to call out any presence of evil.[1] However, he's scared of Hua Cheng just like the fellow monks he travels with.
History[]
He was a temporary enemy of Hua Cheng and by extension Xie Lian though by the end of the story helped them set up an array to protect the people.
He was present during Xie Lian's celebration to commemorate the opening of his new shrine. Heaven's Eye informs Xie Lian that he now has the essence of evil inside him, instead of just on his lips.
Abilities[]
- Third Eye: Once he draws his own blood, usually by biting his own finger, and draws a line on his forehead, a seemingly third eye appears. This third eye can detect the essence of evil, to the point that he can directly point out where it's coming from, even specific body parts. Rubbing his forehead seems to make him concentrate better and amp up his ability.[1]
