Heavenly Official: Even though part of the Middle Court, he still possesses the same advantages as other Heavenly Officials. He doesn't age and has no need for necessities like food or sleep. Other benefits are immunity to temperature and the ability to deal with heavy injuries. Like all other gods, he can utilize spiritual powers.
Swordsmanship Skills: Fu Yao is shown to be able to handle the sword well.[1] Later he is even seen fighting with a saber which he is also skilled with.[2]
Authority: Xie Lian notes that Fu Yao must have a high position in Xuan Zhen Palace as he's able to quickly summon multiple men from his palace to help with cleaning up.[3]
Alter Ego: Since Fu Yao is an alter ego of Mu Qing, he naturally possesses all of his abilities.[4]
