Summary[]
Xie Lian is still being lead through the forest by an unknown man, who suddenly opens an umbrella. Howls of the wolves that could be heard nearby stop abruptly. Xie Lian starts wondering whether it started raining, but he also smells the stink of blood. The man tells him not to worry and leads him further until the "rain" stops.
He lets go of Xie Lian's hand, saying that they have arrived. He starts lifting the red veil covering the Crown Prince's face, but Xie Lian quickly attacks him with Ruoye. The man disappears in a swarm of butterflies before the silk band can make contact, revealing to Xie Lian's surprise that they were standing before a Pei Ming temple.
