The Chance Encounter at Yu Jun (Part 1) (与君相逢 壹, Yǔ Jūn Xiāngféng Yī) is the fifth chapter of manhua based on a novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. This chapter was published on 18th of October 2019.
Summary[]
The chapter starts with Xie Lian being carried in a marriage sedan through the Yu Jun Mountain and hearing a child's voice singing a song about newlywed brides. Suddenly the palanquin stops and an unknown man gives his hand to Xie Lian - it's clothed in a silver vambrace and he has a red string tied around his finger. The Crown Prince hesitantly takes the hand and is lead through the forest, thinking that with his lacking cultivation powers he is no match for this person. They come upon a skull which is one of the corner points in a barrier formation set probably by the ghost groom, but the red-clothed man doesn't even hesitate, crushing the bones under his shoe and thus effortlessly destroying the whole array. Xie Lian decides that he cannot be the one they are looking for, wondering who he really is.
