Summary[]
Xie Lian, San Lang and Nan Feng have made it back to Puqi Shrine. Xie Lian rolls out the mattress, tired from the mission in Banyue Kingdom. He offers to make a meal for Nan Feng as a thank you for his assistance. Nan Feng is visibly troubled, claiming he just got notice of an emergency in Nan Yang Palace and running out of the shrine. Xie Lian concludes he's not hungry, so he asks San Lang instead, but he adresses him by his true name, Hua Cheng.
The latter tells him he still prefers the name "San Lang". After confirming he was on Yu Jun Mountain, he leaves it for Xie Lian to decide if he was there out of boredom or came specifically for him. Xie Lian doesn't dare answer, but he admits Hua Cheng seemed quite bored. He also says Hua Cheng is different from the legends, so Hua Cheng asks how he found out about his identity. Xie Lian explains that, since he found no flaws in the appearance, it must've been a Supreme. Additionally, he's always dressed in red and incredibly knowledgable, so Xie Lian concluded he must be Hua Cheng.
