Summary[]
Xie Lian asks if the one before him is truly Tian Sheng. Tian Sheng confirms it's actually him and that two other merchants from the group accompanied him as well. They followed as they became anxious and didn't know when the others would come back, so they went out to search for the Shanyue Fern on their own. They continue to search for the fern when San Lang announces he found it. He applies it to Xie Lian's wound and Xie Lian confirms it worked.
The others continue to search for more and find a large patch of the fern. Xie Lian is confused as San Lang had been searching there earlier and seemed to have missed it, but San Lang mentions they shouldn't take the fern from there. Suddenly someone shouts that they should go away and the merchants along with Xie Lian discover a face in the ground that is able to talk.
