Black and White Robe (黑衣白袍, Hēi Yī Bái Páo) is the 38th chapter of the manhua based on the Heaven Official's Blessing novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It was published on 1st of September 2020.
Summary[]
The group arrives at Banyue Pass, surprised by how small the kingdom actually is. Xie Lian explains that despite its little population, they had a strong and determined army. Nan Feng notices a high building in the distance, the so-called Sinner's Pit that served as a prison, although people would just be thrown directly into it. Xie Lian spots a woman hanging on top of the pit, which leaves A-Zhao visibly troubled.
Suddenly San Lang hears noises, confirming someone's there. The group splits up and seeks shelter when two unknown cultivators, who turn out to be Shi Qingxuan and Ming Yi, arrive at the scene. Shi Qingxuan wonders where the group went, but Ming Yi asks for her to hurry up. As they walk past the buildings however, Ming Yi abruptly stops and looks at the place where Xie Lian and San Lang took shelter.
