Scorpion Snake (蝎尾之蛇, Xiē Wěi Zhī Shé) is the 36th chapter of the manhua based on the Heaven Official's Blessing novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It was published on the 18th of August 2020.
Summary[]
Tian Sheng cries out that Uncle Zheng has been bitten. Xie Lian tells everyone to look for wounds on their bodies and goes over to check on Uncle Zheng. He notices how quickly the poison is spreading on his hand when A-Zhao suddenly rips off a part of his cape and tightens it around Uncle Zheng's wrist to slow down the poison. He confirms that his death within four hours in inevitable. Nan Feng gives him medicine, but it can only prolong the process to 24 hours.
San Lang tells the others that the only antidote is the Shanyue Fern, however, it can only be found in Banyue Kingdom where people have gone missing. Xie Lian wants to borrow two heavenly officials, but he can't enter the communication array. Nan Feng and Fu Yao can't either, so Xie Lian concludes it must be blocked due to the evil energy of Banyue. He notices a Scorpion Snake that tries to attack San Lang but catches it beforehand. The snake stings Xie Lian, causing him to drop it. He warns the others of more possible snakes when San Lang suddenly grabs his hand.
