The General's Tomb (Part 2) (将军墓冢 贰, Jiāngjūn Mù Zhǒng Èr) is the 35th chapter of the manhua based on the Heaven Official's Blessing novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It was published on the 14th of August 2020.
Summary[]
Xie Lian confirms that the general died on the battlefield after tripping over his own boot laces and getting trampled to death by both his own men and the enemy. The merchants start to laugh, but Xie Lian tells them to have some sympathy and explains that the people the general led built him this tomb stone. San Lang makes up a saying that if you kowtow in front of the tomb stone, you'll have luck in the Gobi Desert. The merchants believe it and pay their respects.
Suddenly a merchant calls out that there's a snake. Xie Lian tells everyone to get back, and they discover a Scorpion Snake in the cave. San Lang picks it up and examines it while Xie Lian explains that these snakes are extremely poisonous and dangerous. San Lang mentions that they're also the totem of the head priestress of Banyue. More Scorpion Snakes appear and Nan Feng and Fu Yao create a fire barrier to keep them away, telling everyone to get out of the cave. The sandstorm has stopped by now, but as they leave the cave Tian Sheng notices Uncle Zheng has been bitten by one of the snakes.
