Summary[]
In the shrine, Xie Lian prepares for bed when he notices San Lang looking at the Cursed Shackle around his ankle. He quickly hides it, and they talk about things missing in the shrine. San Lang mentions the image of the god and Xie Lian is shocked he forgot something so important, planning to draw it soon. San Lang offers help and Xie Lian is surprised he knows about the Crown Prince of Xianle. While he gives San Lang his outer robe as a blanket, he asks about his opinion on the prince. San Lang thinks Jun Wu must dislike him due to banishing him twice, but Xie Lian tells him the matter is more complicated than that before extinguishing the candles.
Later that night, Xie Lian is asleep while San Lang lays awake. He props himself up to look at Xie Lian and covers him with the outer robe he was given.
