Night Travelling During the Festival of Ghosts (Part 1) (中元夜行 壹, Zhōng Yuán Yèxíng Yī) is the 23rd chapter of the manhua based on the Heaven Official's Blessing novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It was published on the 21st of February 2020.
Summary[]
As ghosts approach, Xie Lian creates a protective barrier with Ruoye. Xie Lian tells them to remain silent, but the ox cart driver is afraid he won't be able to, so Xie Lian apologizes and knocks him out. They continue riding the ox cart next to the ghosts. Two ghosts start to argue and bump into the ox cart that's invisible to them. They're suspicious but keep walking.
Xie Lian and San Lang end up having to decide between two paths. As they can't choose randomly in such a night, Xie Lian pulls out a fortune shaker. All his pulls are bad luck, but San Lang manages to pull good luck. He also takes the reins and chooses which way to go.
