Clothes Redder than Maple Leaves (Part 1) (衣红胜枫 壹, Yī Hóng Shèng Fēng Yī) is the 21st chapter of the manhua based on the Heaven Official's Blessing novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It was published on the 7th of February 2020.
Summary[]
On his way back home after collecting scraps, Xie Lian walks through a forest full of maple trees. He gets lost in thought as he remembers his past in Xianle with Mu Qing and Feng Xin by his side when suddenly an ox cart driver asks him to clear the way. Xie Lian requests a ride and gets on the cart, reading a scroll about Heavenly Officials he found while collecting scraps. He first reads about himself and the nicknames he has been given.
He states that all living beings are equal, but a stranger who is also on the cart says then gods would not exist. Xie Lian agrees and continues to read. They talk about the water master, Shi Wudu, and also the deputy general Pei Xiu. Xie Lian turns to the stranger and asks if he knows about the ghost Hua Cheng as well. The boy smiles and also turns to Xie Lian, asking what he wants to know.
