The Crimson Rain that Seeks the Flower (Part 2) (红衣鬼王壹, Hóng Yī Guǐwáng Yī) is the 16th chapter of the manhua based on the Heaven Official's Blessing novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It was published on the 3rd of January 2020.
Summary[]
Ling Wen continues to tell Xie Lian about the Four Great Calamities – Black Water Submerging Boats, Night-Touring Green Lantern, White-Clothed Calamity and Crimson Rain Sought Flower. Xie Lian is already acquainted with the White-Clothed Calamity, but Ling Wen reassures him that he has been defeated long ago. He asks about the last one and Ling Wen explains to him that Crimson Rain Sought Flower is the notorious Hua Cheng.
She tells him about the different theories regarding Hua Cheng's actual identity. Some say he was a child that was bullied due to his missing right eye and thus hated humans, others say he was a teenage soldier who fought for his country and was unable to accept death, others say he died for his beloved and some believe he ascended but rejected Heaven and become a ghost. The only thing they know for sure is that he was born from Tonglu Mountain, where Supremes are born. However, what made Hua Cheng infamous was that he challenged thirty-three Heavenly Officials who all lost to him.
