The Dream Demons of an Ancient Country (Part 1) (故国梦魇 贰, Gùguó Mèngyǎn Èr) is the 14th chapter of the manhua based on the Heaven Official's Blessing novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It was published on the 13th of December 2019.
Summary[]
Nan Feng asks if the disease is contagious. Xie Lian explains that if Lang Ying's case was contagious, the mountain would've been destroyed by it, thus they conclude that he was either cured and the scars didn't fade or he is inhuman. Xie Lian wants to chase after him, but Nan Feng stops him. They plan to notify the Heavenly Court of him.
Just as they wonder where Fu Yao is, he arrives covered in blood. He says it's not his blood and that he encountered the 'Forest of Hanging Corpses', being surprised Xuan Ji is allied with Qi Rong. Because Xie Lian doesn't know about Qi Rong, Nan Feng explains that Qi Rong is a near Devastation ghost and that he's known for hanging up corpses in forests to create a scene of blood rain. Xie Lian tells Fu Yao they have to return to the Heavens immediately and explain the Human Face Disease is here, alarming Fu Yao.
