The Dream Demons of an Ancient Country (Part 1) (故国梦魇 壹, Gùguó Mèngyǎn Yī) is the 13th chapter of the manhua based on the Heaven Official's Blessing novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It was published on the 6th of December 2019.
Summary[]
Lang Ying and Xie Lian finish burying Xiao-Ying. Xie Lian notices that Lang Ying is bleeding from beneath the bandages and wants to take a look at it, but Lang Ying is startled by the touch. He reassures Lang Ying that he won't be frightened by him and Lang Ying carefully takes off his bandages, revealing a scarred face infected with the Human Face Disease. Xie Lian is visibly disturbed and has a flashback to a ravaged battlefield and White No-Face.
Nan Feng finishes bringing the corpses of the brides outside and asks why Xie Lian where Lang Ying is. Xie Lian explains that he has the Human Face Disease which shocks Nan Feng. He asks if Xie Lian might be mistaken, but Xie Lian explains that Xianle was destroyed by this disease and that he would never be mistaken.
