Bloody Sought Flower; Vicious Battle Against White No-Face III (血探花恶斗白无相, Xuè Tànhuā Èdòu Bái Wú Xiàng) is the 238th chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.
Summary[]
Guoshi warns Hua Cheng that White No-Face’s new form might be even stronger than the previous. Jun Wu heals his wounds from the past fight and warns Mei Nianqing not to say anything further. Xie Lian says Hua Cheng never underestimates his opponents. Jun Wu grabs Fang Xin and names it Zhu Xin.
Zhu Xin and E-Ming clash while the Heaven Crossing Bridge shakes. Jun Wu's strength is much greater than before, but Hua Cheng has no problem keeping up with his pace. Jun Wu aimed for his right eye at every strike. Hua Cheng blocks it every time, but sometimes the slashes are alarmingly too close. Suddenly, Xie Lian flicks Zhu Xin in front of Hua Cheng. Even though he's skilled catching a blade with his hands, but this is Xie Lian's first time encountering a malicious sword such as this. One flick made his arm become numb, but his feeling returned back within a few seconds.
Xie Lian says to Hua Cheng that they'll fight together, this makes Jun Wu's smile grow bigger. While fighting him, Xie Lian takes Jun Wu's lower part while the latter takes top. Xie Lian then sees Hua Cheng almost falling and catches him with Ruoye. The next second he feels a chill behind his back, it's Jun Wu who's behind Xie Lian's back. Hua Cheng throws E-Ming at Jun Wu so he can join his side. At the successful attempt, this makes Jun Wu laugh and encourages them to continue, which makes Mu Qing horrified.
The two of them attack Jun Wu and Xie Lian uses Ruoye to tangle the hilt of Zhu Xin. Jun Wu unexpectedly yanks him back, however Hua Cheng pulls him back and gets stabbed in his heart by Zhu Xin. Xie Lian panics but remembers that he's a ghost, Hua Cheng yells he'll never let Xie Lian get stabbed ever again. Jun Wu states that he's only a deceased man and he cannot feel pain, much to Xie Lian's fury. He reminds him about the days after Xianle had fallen and a ghost named Wuming. Xie Lian panics, because Hua Cheng has never seen him roll in mud and filled with so much resentment. However, Hua Cheng reassures him by saying what matters is Xie Lian and not the state of him. He will never leave him.
Jun Wu laughs and says his most devoted believers had also said that but they left, this is hinted at Mei Nianqing’s departure. Suddenly, Jun Wu changes tactics and starts only attacking Xie Lian. Fortunately, E-Ming blocks Jun Wu's moves.
