Blinded. by the Heart; Brocade Immortal Forged by Blood II ( "Chīxīn Zǐ Xiě Huà Jǐnyī Xiān") is the 129th chapter of the Heaven Official's Blessing novel.
Summary[]
As Xie Lian explains what the scroll told about the Brocade Immortal, Quan Yizhen does not seem to listen. Nonetheless, he knows what its original form is: "a sleeveless, headless, gunny-sack-life blood-soaked robe", as he says.
To clarify this case, Xie Lian proposes to go into town and see if they can have more information. Asking Hua Cheng for help would be faster but Xie Lian does not want to bother him as he is currently busy. He is going to leave the Shrine when he notices Lang Ying is following him. He asks him to stay but before he can say anything more, Quan Yizhen falls on the ground, unable to walk.
The next day, the Martial God of the West looks slightly better. Xie Lian brings some porridge from the village and chops wood. Lang Ying comes along to help but Xie Lian tells him to take a bath instead. But the boy protests, unwilling to bath. Xie Lian decides to take the bath, but Lang Ying drags Quan Yizhen out of the shrine.
Xie Lian is reading the scroll when someone knocks at the door. He then realises the knocking is on the village head's house next door. The voice of a woman sounds, asking if anyone wants to exchange old clothes for a new robe. Xie Lian understands it is a trap from the creature they are searching for. When it knocks at the Puqi Shrine's door, he says he is interested. He gives his cultivation clothes in exchange of her robe, and as she leaves, Ruoye peeps out of the sleeve and hisses the girl who is not a "girl" anymore, but a eighty-year-old woman.
