Summary[]

Hua Cheng's shoulders freeze for a moment when Xie Lian said his true form wasn't bad, however Hua Cheng regains himself by saying he did indeed promise he would show his real appearance. Xie Lian asks Hua Cheng if he gave him the necklace made of silver chains. Hua Cheng says the ring is for him and adds Xie Lian can keep it for fun. Xie Lian says he thought the Paradise Manor is a brothel or a red light district, but apparently this place looks like a theater. Hua Cheng states he never went to a red light district.

Hua Cheng explains he stays at Paradise Manor if he has free time. Xie Lian states it's a home, however Hua Cheng corrects this is a residence because a home has a family in it. He adds that Puqi Shrine is much more better because how lively it is. Xie Lian says he can visit the temple anytime, he then asks Hua Cheng he needs help to search a kid that might be from his kingdom. Hua Cheng communicates someone in a low voice to find the person.

Xie Lian apologizes for Lang Qianqiu's rash behavior in the Gambler's Den. Hua Cheng says for the sake of him, he'll ignore everything he had destroyed and he can do whatever he wants, but Lang Qianqiu has to hide his face from him. Xie Lian curiously asks if he's bothered that so many Heavenly Officials are coming into Ghost City. Hua Cheng says it's alright since they do illegal business in his territory and it wouldn't be a problem if they cause trouble.

Xie Lian warns the Gambler's Den might destroy him, Hua Cheng says he rather controls this place than someone else does. Wanning Moon Officer comes in with the child Xie Lian had asked. He apologizes to the boy for scaring him and Xie Lian gives him Hua Cheng's fruits. Xie Lian asks him his name while the bandaged child munches on the food quickly. He tries to mummer but can't say anything, he may have not talked for years and forgot how to do so. Xie Lian tries to remove his dirty bandages while Hua Cheng persisting that he should do it. His hands slightly shake when he sees the child's face infected with Human Face Disease. The bandaged child mutters he's from Yong'an and Xie Lian asks him if he ever saw White No-Face, after 800 years he's Xie Lian's worst nightmare.

A flashback appears back in the Grand Martial Hall. Pei Ming's goal was to frame Hua Cheng of being the cause of the Banyue incident. Xie Lian explained Hua Cheng had nothing to do with Pei Xiu's crimes. The Gods then left after Jun Wu told them so. Jun Wu asked Xie Lian what happened, he stayed silent and knelt.
