At Paradise Manor, Questions of Xianle (极乐坊携君问仙乐, Jí Lè Fāng Xié Jūn Wèn Xiānlè) is the 39th chapter of the Heaven's Official Blessing novel.
Summary[]
Lan Qianqiu shuts down Shi Qingxuan's suggestion of lying to Hua Cheng about their reasoning for arriving at Ghost City. Lan Qianqiu asks Xie Lian if him and Hua Cheng are friends and Xie Lian nods, therefore affirming Lan Qianqiu's reason to not lie to Hua Cheng as one mustn't lie to a friend.
Before they get to talk more, sounds of cries and a howl disrupt their conversation. A group of demons and ghosts are looking around for the bandaged boy. The boy gets caught and a group surrounds him. Xie Lian walks closer, pushing some of the ghosts away.
When taking a look, he realizes this is the same boy from Yu Jun Mountain. One of them pulls at the bandages on the boy's head, taunting him. Lan Qianqiu, furious at their torment of the boy, goes over to the group. They, in turn, attack Lan Qianqiu.
Xie Lian turns to the boy, asking if he was okay. The boy only screams, pushing Xie Lian away before running off. Just before he was about to follow the boy, the ghosts who he had pushed come back. Xie Lian watches the boy almost disappear into the crowd ahead, turning to tell Shi Qingxuan and Lan Qianqiu that he'd he back. Using Ruoye to send the ghosts flying, he runs ahead to catch up with the boy.
While attempting to chase after him, Xie Lian gets in a bit of trouble with some ghosts that surround him. During the brawl, a man called the Waning Moon Officer suddenly walks through the crowd, calling to Xie Lian that the lord wishes to see him. In disbelief, the ghosts around him are in shock at the fact that the lord would want to see Xie Lian.
Xie Lian follows the man to Paradise Manor, noticing that he has a cursed shackle on his wrist. Xie Lian notes of the beauty of Paradise Manor, the music emanating from the inside and women dancing. Hua Cheng is seated at the back of the main hall and greets Xie Lian, inviting him to come in. Xie Lian asks why he pretended not to know him back at the Gambler's den and Hua Cheng says he did not wish to get Xie Lian in trouble.
Just as Hua Cheng invites him to take a seat and Xie Lian follows, he notes that Hua Cheng is in his true form, which makes the latter stop in his tracks.
